Cornerstone Capital wants everyone to be able to use cornerstonecapital.org, including people who use assistive technology. We treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we build and maintain the Site.
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. This is a goal we work toward, and some parts of the Site may not yet meet it.
Request forms open in a dialog on larger screens and in a panel that rises from the bottom of the screen on phones. Focus moves into the form when it opens and returns when it closes, the Escape key closes it, every field has a visible label, and errors are announced and tied to their fields. Forms with two steps state which step you are on. Each form button is also an ordinary link to the contact page, so the request form is reachable without scripts.
Interactive sections, such as the expanding concept cards and the map of what life insurance is used for, work with a keyboard and do not depend on hovering. All motion on the Site is turned off when your device asks for reduced motion.
Some content on or linked from the Site is provided by others and may not fully conform to the standard we aim for. This includes:
If a limitation prevents you from completing a request, contact us and we will help you by another method, such as phone or email.
If you have difficulty using any part of the Site, or have a suggestion for improving it, please tell us. Email support@cornerstonecapital.org, call (501) 476-1468 or use the contact page. It helps if you include the page address, a description of the problem and the browser and assistive technology you were using.
We try to respond to accessibility feedback within a reasonable time.
