Cornerstone Capital ("Cornerstone Capital", "we", "us" or "our") is an independent life insurance brokerage. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through cornerstonecapital.org (the "Site"), how we use and disclose it, and the choices you have.
This policy applies to the Site and to the emails, calls and text messages we send in connection with it. It does not apply to websites or services operated by others, including insurance carriers. Our final expense questionnaire at get.cornerstonecapital.org is a separate application, and information you submit there is handled under the notices presented there.
The Site is intended for residents of the United States who are 18 or older. No insurance can be purchased on the Site.
The Site forms never ask for a Social Security number, medical history, prescriptions, medical records, bank or account details, a policy number or any document. Please do not send them through the Site forms or by email.
When you visit the Site, our hosting and analytics providers collect technical information such as the pages viewed, the referring page, approximate location derived from the request, device type, browser type, operating system and performance measurements. The web analytics we use by default are cookieless and are designed to report aggregate activity.
We use a small number of first-party cookies to remember your cookie preferences and to record how you arrived at the Site. Our anti-fraud provider may set its own cookies or use local storage on pages with forms. Optional advertising and analytics tools load only if you grant Marketing consent. See our Cookie Policy for details.
A first-party cookie stores how you arrived at the Site: campaign parameters from the link you followed (UTM parameters), advertising click identifiers (such as fbclid and gclid), the page you landed on and the referring address. It keeps two entries, the first time you arrived and the most recent time you arrived from a campaign link or another site. If you submit an inquiry, both are saved with it so that we can understand which campaigns lead to inquiries.
If you grant Marketing consent and we have configured an analytics or advertising tool, the Site reports a small set of activity events to that tool: that a coverage page or an article was viewed, that a form button was pressed, that a form was opened, started, advanced or submitted, that an article was shared, that a license lookup link was clicked, or that a carrier mark was viewed. Each event carries only the type of form, the page and the step. Your answers, your name, your contact details and anything you type are never included in these events.
We use personal information to:
We disclose personal information in the following circumstances.

We use service providers that process information on our behalf, in these categories:

If you grant Marketing consent, information about your visit may be disclosed to the advertising and analytics partners described in the next section.
We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is required by law, regulation, subpoena or court order, is requested by an insurance regulator or other government authority, or is needed to protect the rights, safety or property of Cornerstone Capital, our visitors or others.
If Cornerstone Capital is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization or sale of some or all of its assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the commitments in this policy.
We disclose information to others when you ask us to or consent to it.
By default, the Site uses cookieless analytics and performance measurement provided by Vercel.
The following optional tools load only after you grant Marketing consent in our cookie preferences, and only when we have configured them: Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API. When active, these tools may collect identifiers, information about the pages you view and the actions you take, and may use that information to measure advertising and to show you ads on other sites and services. Information collected by these companies is subject to their own privacy policies.
You can withdraw Marketing consent at any time. See Your Privacy Choices.
We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy. The criteria we use to decide how long to keep information include:
The cookie that stores your cookie preferences lasts up to 12 months, and the attribution cookie lasts up to 90 days. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. Please help protect your information by not sending sensitive identifiers or records through the Site.
Depending on where you live and whether the law of your state applies to us, you may have some or all of the following rights regarding your personal information:
To submit a request, email us at support@cornerstonecapital.org or call (501) 476-1468. Tell us which right you wish to exercise and the state where you live. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before acting on a request, which may include asking you to confirm information we already hold about you. An authorized agent may submit a request for you where the law allows, and we may ask for proof of the agent's authority.
If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or by contacting us using the details above with the subject "Privacy Appeal". If your appeal is denied, you may have the right to contact the attorney general of your state.
Some information we hold may be subject to other laws, including insurance and financial privacy laws, and may be exempt from certain state privacy rights.

The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "updated" date shown on this page. If the changes are material, we will provide a more prominent notice where appropriate.
